It plans to establish ParalympicsGB House at the EM Normandie Business School for athletes, staff, media, friends and family and corporate partners, offering a space to relax.

Clichy provides easy access to the Athletes' Village and several Paris 2024 venues, and had already been chosen by the British Olympic Association to create a high-performance centre during next year's Games.

BPA chief executive Dave Clarke welcomed the finalising of the partnership with Clichy and the EM Normandie Business School.

"We are delighted to establish this partnership with the Clichy district and EM Normandie," Clarke said.

"It will not only enable us to further our ambitions in providing the best possible services and support to our athletes, their friends and family and our many enthusiastic stakeholders and partners through ParalympicsGB House, it will also help and support this fantastic corner of Paris to further their ambitions in inclusivity and accessibility to leave a lasting legacy from these Games."

Clichy Mayor Rémi Muzeau hopes the Paralympics can serve as a catalyst for inclusion in the district.

"We are committed to seizing this opportunity to further promote adaptive sports in Clichy, shift perceptions about disability, and, in a broader sense, continue our commitment to making Clichy an inclusive city for all, in all areas," Muzeau said.

Britain has competed at every edition of the Paralympics, finishing second on the medals table at five of the last six Summer editions.

Its 227 athletes won 41 golds, 38 silvers and 45 bronzes at Tokyo 2020.

The Paris 2024 Paralympics are scheduled for August 28 to September 8.
