Armenian boxers continue their successful journey in the 2023 IBA World Junior Championships in Yerevan.

The ring was prepared for the women’s competition in 2023 IBA World Junior Championships in Mika Sport complex, Yerevan. 44 boxers from 7 weight categories stepped to the ring for their 1/8 round fights. 

The International Boxing Association (IBA) and the government of Japan deepened their understanding this week with a meeting in Tokyo between Umar Kremlev, President of the IBA, and Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan.

The second competitive day of the 2023 IBA World Junior Championships in Yerevan has ended, and for the host country Armenia, it went almost as well as yesterday.

World Boxing will gather in Frankfurt this Saturday for the World Congress, where the elected positions of President, Vice President and seats on the Executive Committee will be decided, as well as the Presidents of the Sport and Competition Committee, the Medical and Anti-Doping Committee and the Finance and Audit Committee.

It will be a previously unseen title in the IBA, and the fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the 60-kilogram category

While Las Vegas has always been and will continue to be the mecca of boxing, according to ESPN, the fight for the undisputed title that unifies all the belts will be held in Riyadh. The boxers in question are Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, two contenders who have been sizing each other up for some time and finally have a date to meet in the ring: February 17.

Dubai will be the epicenter of world boxing. Between December 9 and 12, the International Boxing Association (IBA) will organize three of its most important events of the year in the city of the United Arab Emirates; the IBA Ordinary Congress, the Global Boxing Forum, and the Champions' Night.
