Ramos and Lisboa, who is known as Duda, followed up their triumph in the German city of Hamburg in August with gold at the Stade Roland Garros in the French capital.

Their opponents in the final for the second consecutive stop were Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth of the United States, and they triumphed 21-10, 18-21, 15-13 for a fourth elite 16 win of the season.

Ramos contributed 29 points in the final, including eight aces.

Katja Stam and Raïsa Schoon of The Netherlands won bronze with a 21-17, 22-20 victory against Italy's Valentina Gottardi and Marta Menegatti.

While Ramos and Duda added to their glittering list of honours in the women's tournament in Paris, European Championships silver medallists Ondřej Perušič and David Schweiner of the Czech Republic earned their first elite 16 victory on the men's side.

The second seeds won all six matches in Paris, and came from behind to beat Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler of Germany 16-21, 21-19, 15-11 in the final.

A Dutch pairing also took bronze in the men's tournament, with Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen staging a comeback to win 18-21, 21-18, 15-13 against Austria's Julian Hörl and Alexander Horst.

Paris was the final elite 16 event before the Beach Volleyball World Championships in the Mexican cities of Tlaxcala, Apizaco, and Huamantla from Friday (October 6) until October 15.

João Pessoa in Brazil is due to host the final elite 16 event of the year from November 22 to 26 before the Beach Pro Tour Finals in Qatar's capital Doha from December 6 to 9.
