The Namibia National Olympic Committee (NNOC) recently helped host an Athlete365 Career+ workshop focused on career transition.

The two-day programme saw a total of 30 athletes and coaches attend at the Arebbusch Lodge, Windhoek.

A self-discovery session focused on encouraging personal growth and self-awareness was hosted.

Olympian Kady Kanouté Tounkara of Mali conducted the workshop that concluded with sessions on how to write a CV.

It saw athletes being guided on how to "rise above the competition", recognise what works and what doesn't while creating a CV.

The Namibia Athletes' Commission thanked the Athlete365 team and the NNOC for helping with the event.

"We hope all of you athletes were able to learn and gain new knowledge that will assist you with your future career transition," the Athletes' Commission of the country said on social media.

Athlete365 Career+ is part of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athletes’ Commission initiative aimed at helping athletes prepare for a career after sport.

According to the IOC, more than 56,000 athletes worldwide since 2005 has benefited from the programme.
