Britons target first laser shoot World Cup event

Heather_Fell_shooting_August_14_2009February 23 - Heather Fell (pictured), the Beijing 2008 Olympic silver medallist, and Mhairi Spence, bronze medallist at last year's Medway World Cup, will head the British challenge in the first Modern Pentathlon World Cup of the year which starts at Palm Springs tomorrow - and marks the senior debut for laser shooting in the final run/shoot discipline.

Modern_pentathlon_laser_gun_2November 11 - Jan Bartu, Performance Director for Pentathlon GB, has called for urgent clarification following the announcement by the international governing body that laser shooting would be used in the London 2012 Olympics - a reverse of an earlier announcement from the UIPM (Union International de Pentathlon Moderne) Congress.
