We will be following
755 athletes, from 122 countries and the refugee team, as they compete in best of three, two-minute rounds. | |
Men and women will each compete in eight weight categories, with medals and certificates awarded to the top four athletes in each category. All participating athletes will receive ranking points.
| Running alongside the event, an election will take place to select two new members of World Taekwondo’s Athletes’ Committee. The Committee has six members, but with two members’ terms having expired, a vote will take place to fill their places. Eight athletes have put their names forward to fill the two slots and the winners will be announced on November 20. |
