Azerbaijan’s Zohra Aghamirova and Hungary’s Fanni Pigniczki claimed six medals between them at the International Gymnastics Federation Rhythmic Gymnastics Grand Prix in Thiais.

Aghamirova and Pigniczki captured the respective clubs and hoop titles as they picked up three medals each at the Palais Omnisports in the French commune.

There was little between them in the clubs and hoop disciplines as they finished in the top two in both, while Aghamirova earned ball silver after losing out to Spain’s Polina Berezina and Pigniczki finished second in ribbon behind Brazil’s Bárbara Domingos.

Aghamirova claimed clubs gold with a winning score of 30,950 points to edge out Pigniczki who totalled 30,450 points.

Alexandria Kautzman of the United States notched 30,100 points to round off the top three.

Aghamirova picked up silver after scoring 30,600 points, while Alba Bautista joined Spanish team-mate Berezina on the podium after registering 30,300 for bronze.

Domingos saw off the challenge of Pigniczki to seal the ribbons title with 31,100.
