Haruto Kamiyama, Masaharu Tanida and Tomoharu Tsunogai amassed 164.831 points at the Antalya Gymnastics Hall to beat China and Italy to the men's team title, while Mika Mizuno, Haruka Nakamura and Sara Yamaguchi posted a score of 104.230 to top the women's team podium ahead of the United States and Italy.

Nakamura also led a Japanese one-two in the women's individual all-around, collecting 51.765 points to beat her compatriot Yamaguchi who notched 51.532, with Italy's Caterina Gaddi third with 50.899.

Qin Guohuan of China earned the men's individual all-around title, posting 80.199 to edge out the 80.131 from Colombia's Ángel Barajas and 79.665 from Italy's Riccardo Villa.

Tsunogai earned two apparatus golds, scoring 13.666 to beat He Xiang of China by 0.033 in the horizontal bars final and sharing the parallel bars title with Barajas as both gymnasts scored 13.733.

Barajas earned an outright victory in the floor exercise with 13.900 to the 13.500 of Germany's Timo Eder.

Armenia's Hamlet Manukyan earned a double success on the pommel horse and still rings, and Italy's Tommaso Brugnami took the vault gold.

There were two apparatus golds for Italy in the women's events.

Gaddi notched 13.600 on the uneven bars to see of the challenge from Germany's Helen Kevric who scored 13.266, and Giulia Perotti triumphed in the floor exercise with 12.900 after the US' Hezly Rivera was handed a 0.100 penalty and had to settle for silver with 12.833.

Mia Mainardi of Argentina in the vault and Yu Hanyue of China on the balance beam were the other winners.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Junior World Championships is open to athletes aged 14 and 15 in the women's competitions, and 15 to 18 in the men's events.
