Norwegians completed a clean sweep of the men’s 10 kilometres sprint podium at the International Biathlon Union (IBU) World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě.

Olympic champion Johannes Thingnes Bø added another gold medal to his name by winning the title.

Bø crossed the line in 22min 39.6sec for his fifteenth individual title of the 2022-2023 season.

Today’s win also means the 29-year-old is now unbeaten in seven sprint races.

His older brother Tarjei Bø, also a gold medallist aty Beijinjg 2022, finished second 30 seconds behind him.

Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen, won silver at the recently concluded Word Championships in Oberhof, won the bronze medal.

With one penalty, Christiansen finished 1:15.2 behind the leader.

"It was one of those races where you look back and the only thig you could change is maybe the shape could be a little bit better," Bø said after wining the title.

"You could ski a bit faster, but…my shooting was clean for sure. I managed a good race; happy about it!

"We are very lucky."

Norway dominated the event as fourth place was bagged by Endre Strømsheim.

Strømsheim clocked 23:57.5 while 4x7.5km relay world champion Fabien Claude of France completed the top-five in 24:02.6.
