Faisal Al-Ketbi is the most decorated ju-jitsu fighter from the United Arab Emirates - one of the sport's most dominant countries.

He has won four gold medals at the JJIF World Championships in the men's 94 kilograms ne-waza class - in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.

Al-Ketbi also won a silver medal at the 2022 World Championships in Abu Dhabi.

At the World Games, Al-Ketbi won gold at the 2017 edition in Wrocław.

He then won two more golds in Birmingham in Alabama in 2022, in the 85kg ne-waza and also the open class.

In 2018, Al-Ketbi won gold at the Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia as the sport debuted on the programme.

Al-Ketbi is a former freestyle wrestler.

He has also tasted ju-jitsu success at the Asian Beach Games and Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. 

He is the first Emirati black belt in ju-jitsu.
