Speaking at the WBSC Europe General Assembly in Belgrade, Fraccari said that "consolidating your branding" was a crucial step for the growth of the sport.

"I believe Europe has a strong image and a solid platform of events that it can consistently convey to its fans," Fraccari said.

"Your work is essential to the growth of our sport, and I applaud what you've done on consolidating your branding in coordination with the WBSC.

"This is an excellent showcase of the unity of our sport and community and an important step for communicating baseball-softball to the fans.

"Behind one brand, we are one sport."

The International Federation chief also highlighted the need to focus on esports and Baseball5 moving forward.

Before the General Assembly began, WBSC Europe members stood in silence for a minute to pay respects to the Turkish Baseball and Softball Federation following a deadly earthquake that struck the country and Syria.

Fraccaria also outlined plans for the distribution of continental funds during the Congress.

The world governing body is planning to support the continental federations with a dedicated amount to "give them more independency and to empower them".

National Federations can apply to the respective continental associations for assistance.

"I believe it is an important step to share resource management at a continental level, for the benefit of all WBSC Members," Fraccari said.

Finally, the WBSC Europe members voted to continue the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials from international competitions due to the war in Ukraine.
