Norway finished top of the medals table at the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Whistler, ending the competition with four golds.

Four came in junior cross-country, with Mathias Holbæk beating Niko Anttola of Finland and team-mate Kristian Kollerud in the men's 20-kilometres mass start race.

Milla Grosberghaugen Andreasson was the nation's star, winning three titles.

Andreasson beat compatriot Tuva Anine Brusveen-Jensen and Marina Kalin from Switzerland in the women's 10km freestyle and followed it up a win in the women's 20km mass start in front of Sweden's Lisa Eriksson and Eevi-Inkeri Tossavainen from Finland.

Andreasson, Brusveen-Jensen and Holbæk were part of Norway's 4x5km mixed relay quartet to take gold with Lars Heggen, with the nation beating Sweden and Italy to the top of the podium.

Tossavainen added to her bronze in the 20km mass start with a win in the women's sprint and stopped Andreasson, who took silver, from a clean sweep, .

Lisa Eriksson won the bronze medal.

A Swedish one-two was completed in the men's sprint with Anton Grahn beating Elias Danielsson to the line, followed in by Finn Eero Rantala.

Niko Anttola claimed the men's 10km title in front of Norwegians Lars Heggen and Thomas Linnebo Mollestad.

Iacopo Bortolas and Annika Sieff gave Italy the men's and women's Nordic combined gold medals.

Bortolas defeated Tristan Sommerfeldt of Germany and Austrian Paul Walcher to the top of the podium, while Sieff was followed by Germany's Natalie Armbruster and Lisa Hirner from Austria.

Germany and Austria won the men's and women's team titles.
