The European University Sports Association (EUSA) is starting a new project called Enhancing Sport Organisations and Management (ESOM) this year, supported by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

It will focus on promotion and support of good governance in sport.

Meanwhile, a project coordinator's meeting for the Erasmus+ Sport Kick Off was held by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

The selection process for the 2022 projects were discussed in the meeting, opened by head of Erasmus Mundus and Sport Unit Yves Le Lostecque and head of sport sector Gael Broze.

The duo shared some important statistics and introduced the participants to the Erasmus+ Sport actions.

From 1,300 applications, a total of 303 projects were selected last year.

The meeting also briefed the project coordinators on key stages such as continuous reporting, administrative guidance, final reporting and results dissemination.
