The Chinese Taekwondo Association (CTA) organised an anti-doping lecture for members of its national squad.

Athletes who competed at last month's World Championships in Guadalajara in Mexico were involved in the education initiative.

"The lecture reviewed the completion of the anti-doping work of the national taekwondo team in 2022, and affirmed the responsibility of all athletes, coaches, team doctors and other managers of the national taekwondo team in anti-doping work," the CTA said.

"Since 2022, the national taekwondo team has had many external competitions and faced various complicated situations, and the whereabouts information has changed frequently.

"During this period, all the personnel of the national team worked together to strictly guard against doping and constantly strengthen team management.

China finished second in the medals table behind hosts Mexico at the World Championships, winning two gold, three silver and one bronze.
