In an all-Brazilian final, Duda and Ana Patrícia won in three sets, beating Carol Solberg Salgado and Barbara Seixas de Freitas 21-19, 20-22, 15-10 in the women's final at the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, concluding the competition in Gstaad.

The world champions Duda and Ana Patrícia made the final with a straight sets 21-19, 21-12 victory over Latvia's Tina Graudina and Anastasija Kravcenoka while Barbara and Carol took a third set to sink the Olympic silver medallists Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar from Australia 10-21, 21-14, 15-9.

It was the second time Barbara and Carol had made the final on the Pro Tour this season, after losing to Canadians Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes in Jūrmala.

Clancy and Artacho del Solar defeated Graudina and Kravcenoka in three sets for third place - beating them 22-20, 22-24, 15-9.

The next leg of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour is scheduled to take place in Hamburg from August 10 to 14, with the last European elite event set for Paris from September 28 to October 2.
