Wu Ran of China and the Philippines' Carlos Yulo stole the show on the final day of the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships as they both won two gold medals in the individual events in Doha.

Wu was clear of her opponents in the women's balance beam in the Qatari capital as she posted a score of 14.633 thanks to leading displays for execution and difficulty as she was awarded 8.333 and 6.300 points, respectively.

Former Japanese national champion settled for silver with a solid 13.833 points ahead of Wu's compatriot Zhang Jin on 13.700 points.

Wu then secured her second victory of the day in the women's floor exercise with 13.700 points in a tighter affair.

Japan's Shoko Miyata finished just shy of her total on 13.633 points but got the better of Lee Yun-seo's 13.267 as the South Korean went home with the bronze medal.

Double world champion Yulo was in mesmeric form at the Aspire Academy Dome.

The 22-year-old posted 15.167 points in the men's parallel bars to clinch gold.

It was Tsuyoshi Hasegawa of Japan who was awarded the silver medal despite both him and China's Yin Dehang scoring 14.700 points.

Hasegawa finished higher as he recorded a better execution score by 0.100 points.

A second gold was in store for Yulo in the men's vault following a stunning 14.884-point routine beating Kim Han-sol of South Korea and Japan's Shiga Tachibana on 14.417 points.

Kim took silver thanks to his first run of two being better than both of Tachibana's.

Yun Jin-seong of South Korea pocketed the men's horizontal bar gold.

He was tied on 14.167 points with China's Lin Chaopan but a difference of 0.300 points on the execution score sealed victory for Yun.

Milad Karimi of Kazakhstan rounded out the podium with 14.133 points.
