The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) has named martials arts and sports brand Guerra as the official equipment sponsor of the GAMMA World MMA Championships 2021.

Guerra will supply gloves, rash guards, shorts, shin pads and COVID-19 prevention masks to all athletes competing at the competition.

The brand was created in 2014 by athletes and they aim to produce a large range of products to help athletes.

"Our dream is to go worldwide and become the number one combat brand in the world, and the GAMMA World Championships will be an important part of this journey," Guerra President Michal Amer said.

"My expectation is that this event will be a huge one - Gamma is going stronger and stronger."

The 2019 World Championships in Singapore was the last edition to be held as the 2020 version was cancelled because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s event is anticipated to have a collection of the world’s best amateur MMA athletes form over a 100 countries.

"As a brand committed to athletes, Guerra shares the same GAMMA values and was, therefore, the perfect choice to become our official apparel supplier for the upcoming World Championships," GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt commented.

"We appreciate their enthusiasm and professionalism and look forward to a successful collaboration with Guerra."

GAMMA’s leading amateur MMA event, which was scheduled to be held from December 7 to 11 in Berlin was postponed, and is due to be staged between March 23 and 27 in Amsterdam.
