Twelve athletes were previously selected in June.

The additional 32 includes former Paralympic champions Libby Clegg and guide runner Chris Clarke, Kadeena Cox, Dan Greaves, Jonnie Peacock and David Weir.

Paula Dunn, Para athletics head coach at UK Athletics, said: "I am proud to announce our team for the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

"We have selected an incredibly strong squad of athletes, including those who have excelled at past Games, progressed significantly during the last cycle to a number of Futures Academy athletes, or have stepped up in recent times to put themselves in contention.

"It is a testament to all the hard work from the athletes, coaches and their support networks, their family and friends.

"We will be supporting everyone on the team so they will be in the best position to achieve their goals in Japan next month."

Weir is set to compete in his sixth Paralympic Games, while Peacock is going for a hat-trick of Paralympic titles after winning T44 100 metres gold at London 2012 and Rio 2016.

Cox will look to defend her T38 400m title, but had already been picked for Tokyo 2020 in the cycling squad.

Clegg and guide runner Clarke will compete in the T11 200m.
