Slovakia's Milan Lackovic achieved the feat in the men's PR3 500m, completing the distance in 1:20.1.

American Kirsten Kline won the women's 2,000m in 6:45.8, finishing ahead of Sophie Souwer of The Netherlands and Marilou Duvernay Tardif of Canada.

The men's 2,000m honours went to Ward Lemmelijn of Belgium in 5:42.2, with Bartosz Zablocki of Poland and Chirill Sestakov of Moldova taking silver and bronze respectively.
