British television network Channel 4 have announced that they will be broadcasting 100 hours of coverage of the Winter Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, due to start on Friday (March 9).

The coverage from will be led by presenter Clare Balding, who recently anchored the BBC’s coverage of the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.

She will be joined by several pundits, including Britain's double Paralympic 100 metres gold medallist Jonnie Peacock, former wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan, part of Britain's bronze medal-winning team at Athens 2004, and ex-British Paralympic cyclist Arthur Williams.

Channel 4's presentation team will be based at a specifically purpose-built broadcast centre at The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead with the centre's ski slope being used to demonstrate the various classifications on show at the Games.

The 100 hours of coverage will be spread across two of the network's channels - Channel 4 and 4Seven - and will include live coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, live coverage of the events and highlights programmes.

Additionally, there will be audio described highlights of the events.

Skiing commentary will be provided by Rob Walker and former British Paralympic skier Sean Rose, who will be based in Pyeongchang.

Walker and Rose will also commentate on the Games' Opening Ceremony. 

Ed Leigh will commentate on snowboarding events whilst John Rawling and Michael McCreadie will commentate on wheelchair curling at the Games, due to conclude on March 18.
