Chinese Taipei finished second on 424 while South Korea rounded out the podium on 431.

In diving competition today, North Korea's Ri Hyon Ju took gold in the men's platform final.

A final attempt of 93.60 points handed Ri, who won silver in the synchronised 10 metres platform earlier in the competition, an overall score of 491.20.

David Dinsmore of the United States took silver on 476.40 with South Korea's Kim Yeongnam completing the medal positions in third on 473.85.

Ukrainian duo Oleksandr Gorshkovozov and Anastasiia Nedobiga then strolled to the mixed team diving title.

In the sport's final competition here in Taipei, the duo produced an overall score of 398.90 to decimate the rest of the field and climb atop the podium with ease.

Canadians Tyler Robert Henschel and Celina Jayne Toth finished second way back on 362.80 while Mexico's Jose Diego Balleza Isaias and Arantxa Chavez sealed bronze on 351.30.

In the early hours of this morning, Italy's Gregorio Paltrinieri won the men's 10 kilometres marathon swimming race.

It was the third gold medal for the Italian at Taipei 2017 following success in the pool earlier this week.

He finished first in a time of 1:54:52.4, just under 10 seconds clear of his nearest rival.

Germany's Soeren Detlef Meissner claimed silver in 1:55:01.5 while Poland's Krzysztof Pielowski rounded out the podium in 1:55:19.6.

The women's marathon swimming crown was won by Hungarian Anna Olasz, who completed the 10km course in a time of 2:04:12.2.

Giulia Gabrielleschi won a second medal of the morning for Italy as she took silver in 2:04:17.9.

Bronze went the way of Adeline Furst, with the Frenchwoman completing the podium in 2:04:23.1.

Li Yi of Macao claimed the first wushu gold medal of Taipei 2017 earlier today.

She won the women's taolu changquan title with a score of 9.51 to give her team its first medal here.

Russia's Sandra Konstantinova finished second on 9.35 while Ayaka Honda of Japan completed the medal positions, finishing third on 9.30.

Li Mengnan of China then prevailed in the men's taolu changquan competition.

The 21-year-old collected a score of 9.55 in the final to beat Russia's Pavel Muratov by 0.10 points.

Muratov was forced to settle for silver on 9.45 while Tsai Tse-Min of Chinese Taipei completed the top three on 9.42.
