Toronto 2015 have opened their official store today at the Toronto Eaton Centre, located in the heart of the Canadian city.

Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, who own and operate the Toronto Eaton Centre, have also joined as a partner of the Toronto Pan American and Parapan Games as the Official Property Management Supplier.

“Toronto Eaton Centre and other Cadillac Fairview shopping centres are community hubs, and we’re pleased to be able to connect with people in these vibrant spaces so shoppers can buy their Games merchandise and show their pride in all the Games stand for,” said Saäd Rafi, chief executive of Toronto 2015.

“Buying tickets is the way to experience the Games, and buying our merchandise is a way to always remember this special moment in the history of our region.”

As the countdown continues until the multi-sport events begin, fans will be able to buy the most in-demand Games items at the store, including a wide variety of clothing and accessories such as baseball caps, tee-shirts and hoodies.

The clothing will be produced by Trimark Sportswear Group,  who previously created the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games apparel.

The Pin People of Regina, a leading of supplier of pins Games pins since the Calgary 1988 Olympic Winter Games have produced official Toronto 2015 pins, will also be available at the store, while several sizes of plush toys of the official Toronto 2015 mascot, Pachi the porcupine have been created by Northern Gifts of Burnaby.

To mark the opening of the store the first 100 customers to and make a purchase of over $50 (£34/€47) will receive a Pachi gift.

In their role as official property management supplier for the Games, Cadillac Fairview, their shopping centre shopping centres, the Toronto Eaton Centre, Markville Shopping Centre, and Lime Ridge are set to host viewing lounges for both the Pan American and Parapan Am Games, in addition to providing the retail space at are providing the retail space at Toronto Eaton Centre.

“We aim to bring our customers unique shopping experiences that create lasting memories and a sense of community, and we couldn’t think of a more fitting partnership than this one.”

In addition Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce Aventura cardholders will receive double Aventura points on purchases made with their card until August 15, excluding returns, at both the store and online by clicking here.

The Pan American Games are due to take place from July 10 to  26, while the Parapan Games are set to be held between August 7 to 15.
